Road safety operation

On FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER, a joint operation was conducted across Queenborough, Rushenden and Sheerness with your local neighbourhood police officers, PCSOS, DVLA and Swale Borough Councils Environments Response Team which resulted in a number of positive outcomes aimed at tackling vehicle related offences and improving road safety within the community. 

During the operation, officers and partner agencies targeted vehicles suspected of being untaxed or otherwise non-compliant with road traffic legislation. As a result:

This is a great example of multi-agency working and its positive outcomes helping to keep the roads in your communities safer. I hope we will be able to run more operations like this in the future.
